WANT TO GO TO USA?

Anybody willing and interested to go to USA? Here are some facts regarding the methods to enter USA. Just like most of the countries that anybody would like to visit, United States as well requires visas from Filipino citizens who are planning to enter the country. Some of those useful links that will help anybody interested to go to United States are:

Visa Types for Immigrants

Immigrant Visa for a Spouse of a U.S. Citizen (IR1 or CR1)

Some points to consider are the following:
1. For any aged 20 or below who wants to enter USA, he/should be accompanied by one parent during the interview. In some cases wherein both parents are dead or living abroad, the applicant should be accompanied by a guardian.
2. For any non immigrant who is applying for a visa, here are some points to consider:
- With regard  to the payment of this application, applicants must pay the non-refundable and non-transferable application fee. As of June 4, 2010, the payments are as follows: US$140-B1/B2, C1/D, F, J,
                       : US150$H,L,O,P,Q and R (Temporary Worker)
                       :US$350- K (Fiancee)
                       :US$390- E(Investor/Trader)

When paying for any of these fees, any applicant must bring his/her passport since this will used when paying in a bank. And after 4 hours after payment, this will be activated. However, for any online payment, this will be activated on a longer time (24 hours).

With regard to the ways to make any payment: payment can be made on any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch, pay through online bill payment option provided by BPI for their customers and through online payment c/o Bancnet) . Additional pertinent information- any payment made is valid for 1 year. Any interview related to the payment must be done within a one-year validity period.

However, for any applicant ready to have an interview, do prepare all necessary related documents. Be reminded also that Nonimmigrant Visa does not accept documents before any interview (except in cases such as Treaty Trader (E1) and Treaty Investor (E2). Do remember also that whatever documents that one has submiited will not be returned and will be destroyed except for one's passport.

Perhaps, it is also good to throw some of these questions in your mind before your actual settling in United States:

1. If you have an international license, is it valid in your chosen States and for how long that it is valid before you will have you onw license?
2. What is the best option for you when it comes to one's private insurance option? Or are you entitled to such benefit as Medicard?
3. What is the process of renting a house and what are the needed documents to do one?
4. How could a new arrival open a bank account? What are the required documents to acquire one?

Good luck for any application. Just be patient with all the process especially in the gathering of data and in the follow up stages. Moreover, be sure that all pertinent papers are provided.
