From my workmates, I heard lots of good things about New Zealand. They range from the green view of the surroundings most notably when you travel and visit the various places of interest. As a background, let me share with you some information regarding the country.

"New Zealand is an island country in the southwester Pacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses- that of the North Island, or Te Ika-aMaui, and the South Island, or Te Waipounamu. New Zealand is situated some 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) of the Pacific island nations of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga.

After World War II, New Zealand joined Australia and the United States in the ANZUS security treaty, although the United States later suspended the treaty. New Zealanders enjoyed of the highest standards of living in the world in the 1950s but the 1970s saw a deep recession, worsened by oil shocks and the United Kingdom's entry into the European Economic Community.

Much of New Zealand's culture is derived from Maori and early British settlers. Early European art was dominated by landscapes and to a lesser extent portraits of Maori. New Zealand's diverse landscape provides many opportunities ofr outdoor pursuits. "- Wikipedia

To the south, it consists of the entirety of the Italian Peninsula and the two islands of Sicily and Sardinia. Italy has a 59.7 million inhabitants and it is also the fourth-largest economy on the European continent, third in the European Union, and eight in the world."-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy

One of those sights that can help anyone to enquire about how to secure a visa to Italy, he/she can look at this link for information: http://touringbuddy.com/visa-requirements-philippine-passport-holders-%E2%80%93-italy-italian-republic/

If applying from the Philippines, one needs to call the Italian Embassy to book an appointment. And aside from one's appointment, there is also a scheduled personal appearance at the embassy though in some cases, this is not required. Normally the processing of one's visa will take 3 weeks.

Regarding the payment, manager's cheque is preferred over personal cheque. Another option to make a payment is by paying on cash. Hope this summary of information will assist anybody who aspires to visit Italy soon or later.
