South West Coast of Victoria

Victoria is one of the states of Australia and famous for its numerous places of interests such as museums, beaches for swimming and for surfing plus other water sports, camping and hiking, nature trekking and many more. One of its famous places is its South West coast territory which basically is composed of the coastline between Geelong on the Western edge of Port Phillip and the equally familiar town of Nelson down near the SA border.

And for those whose interest is into camping, sharing with you on this post a few of the interesting campsites which are specifically located in parks and reserves:

" 1. Cobboboonee National Park- oftenly described as a combination of wetlands, forests and heathlands,  one can reach this area by traversing through the Princess Hwy between Portland and Datmoor. This site is quite popular to those who are fond of hikinh and horseriding.

2. Blanket Bay Camping Area- situated near the ocean beach going to the South West of Apollo Bay, this is one of the early favourites for those who love nature and trekking activities. And if one wishes to continue a little more along the way, he then can found the familiar  Historic Cape Otway Light Station.

3. Hammonds Road Camping Area- plenty of open space at this campground up in the far north of the national park. Back towards the coast close to Aireys Inlet, nice short walks include the easy Distillery Creek Nature Trail and the Moggs Creek Circuit.

4. Sharps Track Camping Area- this one is up on the hinterland behing Lorne. To stretch your legs, head to the nearby Sheoak Picnic Area and follow the well-graded trail to Upper and Lower Kalimna Falls. "

The Joy of Travel

Traveling has been a pastime I have ever since my younger days. Upon discovering new places, I come to terms with my understanding of certain practices and expectations. Of course, there are accompanying sacrifices such as finances, time, people, and many more. Yet the joy and satisfaction offered by those opportunties are much treasured and to some extent, they go beyond any material return.

Much to my delight, travels allow me to deepen my understanding of certain places' cultures and pactices. Being born as human beings, we are aware that accompanying biases and limited judgments are felt by us even after the experience of traveling a certain place.

On the other hand, it is but natural to us to have preconditioned items on our minds. We are at times hesitant to venture into other places due to their ill advised recommendations and assessment. However, if we will only allow ourselves to look deeper into a place's intrinsic wealth, we therefore would feel deeply amazed and overwhelmed to realize that certain new horizons can be divulged to us.

Thus, let us all open ourselves to the experience of travelling since this would enable us to widen our horizon, enrich our culture and open our hearts to the beauty and wonder of other places in this beautiful world we live in.

Anyway, as we went on with our sharing, he was excited and thrilled to share with me his planned visit to Miniloc Island Resort. He said that he found out about this paradise called Miniloc Island on the internet. See how and what wonderful things the internet then can offer to you and me.

Anyway I am sharing you at this time a few facts about this newly found heaven for adventurers in the Philippines, the Miniloc Islands.

We all know that each country has its own popular tourist spots- places where every local resident could be very proud of in sharing to tourists and other visitors.

For Austria, the following are but some of its tourist spots:
"1. Melk Abbey- being considered as one of the most famous monasteries in the whole world. The impressive spiritual center has become one of the greatest examples of Baroque architecture.

2. Vienna State Opera- it is a stunning architectural structure in the middle of Austria's capital.

3. Hofburg Imperial Palace- located in Vienna, it serves as the officla residnece of the President of Austria. From 1438 to 1583 and from 1612 to 1806, it was the seat  of the of the kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire." Source- http://www.touropia.com/tourist-attractions-in-austria/

The Faith In Austria:

Among the 8 million population of Austria, what stand out as a predominant faith group is Catholicism. However due to the recent development of the world nowadays plus the other influences of the modern era, there is but a little percentage among these Catholics that religiously practice their faith.

Signs of this diminishing pious faithful is the less number of people who attend the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Thus it becomes obvious then that being a catholic is merely a thing in the past.

"New Zealand is an island country in the southwester Pacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses- that of the North Island, or Te Ika-aMaui, and the South Island, or Te Waipounamu. New Zealand is situated some 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) of the Pacific island nations of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga.

After World War II, New Zealand joined Australia and the United States in the ANZUS security treaty, although the United States later suspended the treaty. New Zealanders enjoyed of the highest standards of living in the world in the 1950s but the 1970s saw a deep recession, worsened by oil shocks and the United Kingdom's entry into the European Economic Community.

Much of New Zealand's culture is derived from Maori and early British settlers. Early European art was dominated by landscapes and to a lesser extent portraits of Maori. New Zealand's diverse landscape provides many opportunities ofr outdoor pursuits. "- Wikipedia
