          From my workmates, I heard lots of good things about New Zealand. They range from the green view of the surroundings most notably when you travel and visit the various places of interest. As a background, let me share with you some information regarding the country.

          One interesting feature of the country is with regard to its educational system. On this concern, university studies start by February till mid November. On the other hand, New Zealand's primary and secondary schools commence in late January and this will last till mid December. 

           During the child's 5th birthday, he/she is entitled to a free education until the time that he/she reaches 19. Education is compulsory for any child from age 6 up to 16 yrs old.
